The recommended kit for the leadership function focuses on carrying a map, notes and small tools, not on any particular rank.

A card pouch with elastic slots keeps maps, a notebook and a pen organised and immediately at hand, opening flat so the contents stay visible. It attaches with hook-and-loop to a plate carrier's admin panel or another compatible surface, without getting in the way of the rest of the carrying set.

The carrying platform - a combat belt and plate carrier - is chosen by function rather than rank: the same set suits any task where leading and reporting mean carrying documents and notes. A drop pouch adds volume for other small items.

A role selection is our recommendation about equipment commonly used in that job. It is not a list of equipment issued, approved or required by any defence force, unit or authority.
