About us

MatrixProtect OÜ designs and manufactures tactical equipment in Tartu.

We are an Estonian manufacturer. Our products - plate carriers, magazine pouches, admin and equipment pouches, combat belts, medical equipment, backpacks and Kydex parts - are developed together with the people who use them and built in our own production.

The company was founded in 1997. We work from Teguri 45, Tartu, Estonia.

Why our materials matter

MXPower and MXFriction are our own developments. MXPower bonds Foxdura IRR fabric to a strong laminate, giving strength and stiffness without adding layers. MXFriction is an anti-slip lining that holds a magazine or a piece of equipment by friction, which makes a Kydex insert or a rubber retention strap optional rather than necessary.

Who we build for

Our users are professionals - defence and law-enforcement agencies - and civilians who buy the same equipment. For agencies and companies we handle quotes, invoice-based orders, larger quantities and subcontract work.

Alongside our own range we take on contract work: prototyping, modification of an existing product, printing and embroidery, repair, and subcontract manufacturing.
