Heat-formed inserts and holders
Kydex is a thermoplastic that is heated and formed to the shape of a specific item, such as a long rifle magazine, producing a rigid, closely fitted holder.
We use Kydex inserts inside our own pouches and also sell the inserts and holders as a standalone product category.
Care and repair
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and keep away from direct heat and sunlight, since heat can soften and warp the shape. Check the retention screws occasionally, and a worn or cracked holder can be looked at by our repair service.
